'FINALLY!!!....THE ROCK HAS CAME BACK TO THE WORLD WRESTLING'...err...i forgot what else he say hahha...its been awhile since i didnt watch any wrestling show since The Rock has became rich from acting oredi,but thts is not my topic today leh...it cross my mind ony...

I've got my offer letters from IKM oredi to enroll in 'automotive technology cert.' course for 24 mths..hheh...jadi mekanik kereta la pula, if nothing goes wrong, i shall begin my course on 28th june..wow..sempat lagi aramaitih kaamatan..

well, rather than wasting my youth (*thehe..im only 23 la...err..32 can oso haha) doing crappy things in my life i better use it to gain knowledge, (since its is free of charge kan..only registration fees) might be useful during my golden years hehhe..kalau sampai la..or open up some garage someday..who knows..

Yay..but actually i got another offer from Kolej Yayasan Sabah oso in Automotif but this time Diploma in Automotif tech. but, since its is quite expensive (rm 22 K in total) i might turn it down...im afraid i cant afford it. loan? heh...berapa bnyak loan maw buat daaa...

look like im gonna quit my job here...*sob.. sob... i like it here actualy..

Peace babeh!!!, believe it, im actually on my working hours as shirt-less security executive which require me to do absolutely nothing but, rest, watch tv, surf the net and so on...eat sleep and get drunk some times hhahahah......

but actually, the responsibility is quite big here u know, working alone, in the middle of nowhere,if something happen (for example :- being rob or worst murdered hhehe,) it'll take sometime before ppl will notice...luckily i do practice some 'Kuntau' (self defense art) tht might be useful during emergency...(no worries i got my 'parang' with me all the time...)

now i can start thinking how im going to earn money during this course...i cant do any day work anymore but i guess i can still rubber tap at night...yo..the price now is unbelievable, 'kapingan' RM 6.10 per/kg wo...for 'kantalan' Rm 4.55 /kg ahahaha.. i bet my neighbour 'si-gaman' next door will trade his old rusty Land Rover for Hilux Double-cab soon..hehe..

'Kapingan' anyone??....

luckily i got my rubber trees to feed me during my incoming course...lack of sleep? it wont kill ya..

ya..as im browsing google images for some classics car (not porn ya,masi siang ne hehe), i stumble upon one pic in particular which bring back memories hhehe...

1980's Datsun Pulsar 1.4cc

my first car !! hheh...,it rewind my memories back in 1996, i was 18 then, and i just got my driving licence, and just starting earning my own income,well, boys would be boys, first thing i wanna buy is a car...(and its red,with bulky sport rims and roaring sound system)

and i still remember how crazy i've become, got own car,lots of friends,load of money,nothing to worry still..we drove around peninsular like the world is ours hheh..but thts all just good ol memories la..cars back then were just toys to me, nowdays i cant do tht anymore...well as i grew up...

too bad, back then theres no camera phone, even digital camera still pricey we only have the conventional film camera which is long gone by now hehhe together with the pictures...

so what do u do when u got ur 1st car?

Sa menari-nari suda semalam coz its been raining...but sadly, i cant use the rain I've collected coz it turn out to be so murky aiyah...well, wat to do, i know its from haze in the air, but nvm, as long as its raining, good for my rubber trees hheh..

emm..i think its too early to blog today, hopefully it'll be raining again later, i need to climb the tower first to check out my surrounding... yeah..morning exercise (10 storey building to be equivalent err..1ooft? )

i've lost my brand new hp few days ago,thts why no update coz i've been using it as modem to access the internet .. (the only way i knew) hmm, sayang2..how it happen? dont ask..11-3 punya pasal :P hehhe..

nah.. yang ini macam punya phone ... (there goes my rm 500)

so frantically, coz i cant live without hp, though nobody really call me a lot these days (hheh) but im just like u la, addicted to handphone..so i got myself brand err..2nd hand (no money lah) phone,its SE P1i, touch screen la pula, adei, but i found it soooo inconvenient since i hav to use both hand after all these years using normal keypad phone, ciss..salah beli.. now i cant sms while riding motorsikal or while driving (hehh) but its a hand phone anyway..can use as modem oso..

hoh... ganjil punya phone..

but anyway..since this is emergency relief hp, im planning to buy another mahal punya hp end this month..hopefully..

heh..as usual, i cant think of better title, anyway today is tamu day here at Telipok,(allaa...yg banyak pilaks tue..), and i stop by just now to buy some tamu goodies (beli2 santut orang bilang...and such :P ) yay..and i forgot to snap some picture...alaa, but of course u know how tamu day look like isn't?, banyak orang,byk brg2 lying there and here, sumandak oso bnyak, and especially here in Telipok, banyak pilak sana - sini .. jual sigup na.. (and of course they outnumber our local seller)

o..this picture taken few years ago, tamu day at pekan Ranau - got nothing to do with my post :P

the weather still hot and theres open fire occured here and there, im worried actually, since my workplace surrounded by all but bushes and there's some passers by who intently burnt the dried and fire catching grass..stupid!, (especially the pilaks) i knew they did it on purpose to clear their 'Jalan Tikus' because most of them who use this pathway is PTI - damn..

see..see..damn punya olang...

and this actually occured only few yards from my workplace (my beloved digi tower : p) i actually saw few people the other day doing this, but since im out numbered all i can do is to yell at them from afar like..'WHoiIIiiI apa kamu buat.sia telepon polis !!! ' (heheh.something like that la..sepa tidak takut kena pukul ramai2) and it actually work,they fled the scene like rat.. of course they were much afraid of the police than afraid of being burnt to death..stupid,ball-less ppl...'marila betumbuk klu kuat' hehh..(well i said that after they left la :P)

nah..only few yard i told u..if the fire reach my 'hut' there,well i'll become nothing but a good BBQ..

and as prevention i decided i need some kind of weapon..,well, being true blue kampung-man, i can think of shooting them with 'bakakuk' (homemade guns la..) but i dont want to end up behind bars too early hehh and i don't think its any right for person to take other ppl lives we shouldn't do tht folks (of course they're pyromaniac but let god decide their fate) ..so i decided i need this..

yeah..here comes my home made slingshot..its not against the law to have them,some shop even sell them (i saw the factory version at Tamparuli the other day, it cost RM 50 hheh), and its likely wouldn't kill a person, but of course it can do serious injury if it falls into expert hand like me (ehem).. i grew up plying with it la.. u dont wanna know how good i am with this...i can easily knock a birds eye from 200 yards hhaha.. but of course i wouldnt use it against ppl, just for intimidation purpose hhehe..

erm..enough of tht pyromaniac things..hopefully i don't have to use my slingshot today :P

mentioning the tamu day..err.. i think i'll escape my duty today for few hours..i met with few of my friend earlier today and guess what they're oredi whispering to each other..i heard one said 'psttt...mari, rukut-rukut bosan juga ini, 2-3 set ka' heehe... and i think i'll just join them la hhah.. panas baini, lama suda x 'noluyungan'..adios..jumpa lagi next post..

i tried to edit my template but err.. soon i realize that i oredi forgot how to edit css hhehh...so facelift for this blogsite will be postpone until i get back my memory on css :P

by the way, its very2 hot now, its killing me, my open air 'office' doesn't help much, i hav to take off my shirt, wear short pant and selipar jepun (i wonder what my superior will say seeing me like this :P-he must be very happy) and gorging almost 5 liter of highly filtred water oredi (err..hheh)

Ntah la brpa lama suda xda post ne..hheeh..anyway ppl these days doesn't bother bout blog anymore since Facebook rules the Internet...and believe it or not..i don't really know how to use it..they say its easy as ABC but me? hheh being an "old skool kampung man" i find it kinda hard for me or rather confusing if i can say so miakka...well thts very me :P

anyway..being away for so long (go masuk hutan,become komunis) hhe..i mean not writing in this blog for so long, i find it hard to make a comeback since i drain all my ideas about writing...furthermore in English,whoa...but i guess million steps always begin with 1st step huh..

whaha...muka kegutan..somewhere in Pekan Nabalu (latest pic la)..yeah..i edited the cigarette box with my special superimpose technique (hhahh) coz i dont want 2 promote smoking hhehhe, eh..bytheway i took it with my brand new SE c510 phone since i've lost my trusted old N70 during 'ramai-ramai' at my kampung hheh...quite decent ar..3.2 mp cybershot leh...

ini bunga...er..bunga...er...ntah suka2 ja amik ne hheh....i wonder if its a flower at all..

If you're kinda wondering how i manage to get my internet connection,hhah..there it is, i break into DiGi transmitter tower and hack their system..meheh if u belive so la :P, well actually to be honest i am currently working as a part-timer watchman for DiGi tower somewhere in Telipok , coz at this time of the year is no good time for any dedicated rubber tapper, since its fall season for the trees and thus reducing our monthly income...well its decent pay here and whts more i can surf internet all day...without lacking of connectivity since its Digi Tower man!!! hhahha...(errr..and ican still rubbertap in the morning since its only 15 min from my house hheh)

close up ...err..i got story to share with you ppl hheh..back then when i was just started working here, im surfing the net with my laptop inside my car..so there's a passers by and ask me if i were the engineer doing some repairing there...i said "no..im a watchman lah.." that man walk away smiling said "buli tahan...", what?? a watchman cannot have laptop and cars kah? and by the way im also a rubber tapper and a farmer lah...i can afford lah...hhehe..

and if u know me...heh..i always got puppy pets..this one with attitude hheh...no smoking my friend...look at your 'beer belly' hhehe i named it 'si Garut'..well i have another 2 puppy, 1 kitten here, but i haven't got their pic yet..nantila..they all cute and adorable

i was 'siok-siok' rubber tapping just now, and busy re-directing the latex flow which is going all direction but the collecting pot. Well, the trees kinda wet since it was raining last nite kan... (inila namanya 'tamaha' heheh, basah² pun pi potong getah)

see, this is what happen when the rubber tree is wet !!, the latex flow will be distract by the moist and go to all direction but the pot :P

then, suddenly i felt like i was in cameroon Highland heheh..i was surrounded by thick mist!! (even cameroon don't have this kinda sudden mist! )

and i was like..

and frantically run for cover hehhe..and end up trapped at my sister's house when the rain 'pouring it content' to the ground hehe..and guess who accompany me :P

'si-gitom' and 'si-guntut' oso take cover there heheh...deym doggie..

koh..koh..what a beautiful day..kesian lah that latex! all washed away :( but i know dis, gambling with mother nature is not a good idea :P you might lost ur stake pretty bad tho' .. (and in this case..i do :P )

im free lah today...and i look around the house if there is anything i can do to kill my boredom, staring at the laptop monitor early in the morning causing me a headache :P wanna wear thick glasses la nie after this :P

i remembered the pathetic cheap electric kettle that went malfunction that day and i guess i will repair it since i need it to boil water quickly in the morning.. hoih...a lessons for a day..dont buy cheap 'chap ayam' product!! keh keh keh...ony few weeks old but need servicing oredi :P sudah la xda warranty :P..so if u're into D.I.Y , check this out lah..

always check the fuse first ! a constant black out lately and the thunderstorm can eat tht poor fuse, but the fuse is ok...so check the other lah pula...

so after a brief checking into it main body, i know what causes it..its the design!! u see, this electric kettle main circuit breaker work base on heat, but the problem is the sensor itself exposed to the boiling steam and causing it to 'short-circuited' easily.. apa punya designer!

but i din do nothing about it tho..just wipe it to dry out the sensor, and put some cellotape into the big hole that causing the steam goes into it..and hopefully it'll work (without blowing it up :P )

and its work wkakakk...(i tested it few times of boiling and it went smooth...sorry to dissapoint u but no big BANG~~!! hehh)

well, i still have few things waiting to be repaired sitting in a corner of my room tho, but let them wait lah hehh...malas mo buat :P .. (since the owner pun didnt give me deposit *keh keh..how to work? :P )

long before i turn into computer geek, i was an electronic geek :P

and i have a small confession, when i was a kid, i used to dismantle radio (even TV set)to see what inside it and wonder how come tht things produce sound and image heheh...i thought there were human inside it actually :P , *koh koh koh...but tht lead me to my passion and knowledge in electronics and as for the radio and tv set tht i've dismantle, err..god have mercy on them heheh...

and today..i've been checking old boxes contain 'old treasure' at my room and i found this..

yea..this is my antique camcoder heheh...i bought them many years ago (1998-if im not mistaken lah) and i've travelled many part in peninsular to take wedding videos :P, back then i was a freelance videographer for weddings, thts why i bought 2 of them (one serve as backup camcoder)

these things aint cheap back then, these two cost me about 5K, and it is an VHS camcoder, nowdays u can buy a Hi-8/mini DV camcoder for less than 1K, even the DVD-camcoder priced at less than 2K...what a memory...but these camcoder is long broken actually, and i didnt take any effort to repair them since parts are not available anymore for these model :P but..who need camcoder anymore? smart phone can do anything these days :P

then, looking at this 'electronics corpse' somemore one of it, is Panasonic brand with 22x optical zoom, i have a nasty thought...jeng..jeng...what if i swap the lens with my Panasonic Lumix digi-cam ?(which is 12X optical zoom) *koh koh koh...

well, i know its not possible tho' since they are from different 'race' hehe..but as a 'full of couriousity' person, i did dismantle it just to see what inside it (just like old time, but this time with knowledge of course :P ) and i dun have to worry about wrecking them, since they're long dead oredi heheh...

so, this is the lens ... who knows simple things like this can be very complicated :P

after having my satistification looking at what inside it, i put it back together, and keep them where i found them, i wont throw them away since they're 5K in value, but thts not the case, its more to something money cant buy tho' its called 'sentimental value' *keh keh keh

why? because top speed is 28.5kbps, during rainy days-u can go cook rice while waiting for web pages to load, can only open 1 window at a time- if not u'll get network error, it cost RM 150/ permonth, NO download!!, no online games!! no YouTube !! ~~no porn~~ no more Cimbclicks online! thehhe...

whats more.. when ppl with streamyx (or at least a dial-up) can blog hop 10 blogs in less than 30min, me, in the other hand have to spend at least 2-3 hours wakkakk....I LOVE GPRS! (now i have a reason to apologize for not hop-ing to your blogs :P)

but i cant complain.. GPRS is the only option.. and patience is what it take...and im runnin out of patience oredi and it might kill my 'blogging-career' tehehhe...

pls god, slaps our wireless network provider!! so that they can at least expand their 3G to my area!! *koh koh (desperate ~~housewife~~ blogger pray) or slaps RedTone at least !! where is the WiMAX ???? deym... ppl give licence but not doing bisnes! kalau tiada duit jangan buat bisnes *koh koh koh...

i've lots of thing to blog today..i even have those beautiful script in my mind right now but i cant blog about it..simply because we've got no electricty! deym u sesb!! its black out!! not once but twice oredi ( 5-7.45 pm and now, 8.15- who knows, eternity maybe :P ) ..even now i have to type in the dark :P

i went to Tamparuli today to buy some grocery since we run out of em oredi , ( i was trapped for a week kan :P ) actually Telipok town (a.k.a Pilak town) is nearer to my 'kampung' about 15 min drive ony and the road is 95% asphalt heh..but i always go to Tamparuli (which is 30-40 min drive and 60% gravel road) to buy things.

why? simply because i love the view along side the way ;P (oso many 'sumandak' there koh koh koh)

so...lets check them view (grr..wish i have Nikon D40X like Chegu Carol here :P )

this is Crockker Range view from my 'kampung' quite cloudy eh..

newly completed road near Kg Bungolio,Tamparuli, before this its gravel..bump there bump here... (buli jatuh pintu kerita :P )

normally i dont bring my Lumix with me if there is no special occasion before , but this time i brought it, because im in a mood to do so eheh...then ppl start to look at me like im some kinda 'lost tourist' carrying my bulky Lumix around hehe...luckily iam very 'local' look alike so no worry bout that tho' just pretend like a press photographer doing his homework :P

nah..Tamparuli landmarks .. but nobody crossing it today lah .. holiday kan, but when i look at this picture again, well, the angle is wrong !.. i shud take them from front view .. (from the 'tamu' site) heh..nvm..not for sale anyway...free pic kan :P

the 'pasar' hehh... for Tamparulian, this is boring view lah..but just wanna share this to those who never step foot to Tamparuli mah :P.. (i puropsely park my car farrr away from the shop heheh...malu la, sudah la body bertampal-tampal, cat lain², penuh tanah merah pula tu keh keh keh...)

and from all the intresting view along the way, i particularly like this one, its taken near Kg Bungolio and the view facing Tuaran bay and some part of Tamparuli

of one week, i manage to get a bucket of kantalan only hehhe...this is what left to my 20kgs a day :P (i manage to save this after racing with the rain anyhow)

yaa..this is the mysterious kantalan..it is basically latex that is left to hardened into their collecting pot/cup .. but in this case i collect them and left them hardened into a bucket to save them from rains .. look yummy ah? go ahead...it taste sweet too hhehe

we need more sun! even kittens need them too :P

my FLICKR wont accept my picture anymore, hehe..runnin out of limit oredi (itula..sepa suruh upload pic banyak²).. but nvm .. i can use my Photo bucket now.. actually i forgot that i've oredi registered with Photobucket .. and just when i tried to register..it said that the username already in use .. wat?? who else using this username? hoho..and then i tried entering random password then it work .. hola..aint that a day?

well, im kinda bored actually..it rain on and off the whole day..and dying of boredom i decide to go 'jalan² cari makan', all dressed up i am, and ready to go when i got stuck! damn..i forgot, im driving a 2 wheel drive 'malaysian-tin-can' hehh... deym!

so..basically, im trapped in between strong wind, rain and boredom ..hoih...so i end up blogging :( (dont ask if there's a bus passby my village! that would be the same if u ask if there's a train in S'wak :P )

we have strong wind too, i cant sleep last night due to strong wind, im afraid my house will fly away heheh...u see, my mum house built almost 30yrs ago, sitting on top of the hill and thts is not the best combination .. after surviving the Greg taifun (with roof damaged of course) i can feel now tht this house is quite shaky..oo scary...i need new house..

even the 'tayam-tayam' got their own hard time to look for food .. ('tayam' doesn't mean 'ayam' alone :P any animal that is fostered considered as 'tayam' in Dusun .. now u know ah? :P )

ah?? seeing 'mangga' during off season certainly is not a good sign hehh...(now the Earth also malfunction ah? heheh...) but good sign for cindy.. koh koh...now u can have ur 'mangga' :P (well, tht is 'mangga wani' or 'buani' in dusun...but still mangoes isit? :P )

its been 5 days since i last go rubber tapping, and now i started to think of another contingency Plan... i need plan B or C or D.. and those plan are:-
A - Current plan ( die hard rubber tapper)
B - Concentrate On farming to earn cash
C - Look for part-time jobs (e.g working at pump station,lorry driver, shop assistant, ~~rob banks~~, security guard, construction works etc etc :P )
D - Just relax, enjoy the 'holiday' as God bless,watch more tv, surf more, more sleep...

and i choose plan-D hehe..why? well, in this world my friend, we couldn't just grab it all.. don't be greedy no.. we need to slow down sometime heh..so lets just relaxxx...let it be rain :P

kampung-man Mobile

another 'holiday'...grr...it was raining .. (now,since its raining everyday..i need vacation :P )

but,nvm, its going to be shiny day again soon for sure .. so i did nothing much but spending whole day watching TV hehe...

and playing with my N70 .. actually i did load some mobile surfing software into it, but didnt really tested it yet..so i figured i must test it incase one day suddenly i got stranded into some 'unmaped',isolated and very far island, naked but have my N70 with me and wierdly that place oso got 'EDGE' and '3G' coverage so i can go mobile blogging ..(wow..wat a fantasy!)

so, i did capture my N70 screen

as seen here..few games.. emergency application (i like the 'Torch' application tho' which turn ur phone into 'torch light' heh) and some mobile internet application right now i have 3 apps which is Gmail mobile, Yahoo Go, and Opera Mini

this is the Gmail interface, simple but practical and wat good about it was it is a text based so it wont 'swallowed' too much of ur credit :P (as for me, its ok since im on 'unlimited plan' :P ) maybe few cents per download only..

and here is the Yahoo Go interface..if u're yahoo mail user, then this is ur mobile solution, also act as a browser but quite limited function, in term of data usage, well this application here will consume quite a bit of ur credit since it is graphical+text

and the best part is Opera Mini, it will let u browse the internet as if u're using ur normal PC browser but in mini size hehhe... N70 phone standard browser can only surf with WAP or adjusted web for mobile, but this opera mini here have the option to see the web as if u're seeing it on ur PC monitor, and it got mouse too hhahh.. but, this apps here will totally wipe out ur credit if u're not on 'unlimited plan'

so thats it, conclusion is, mobile technology aint cheap! but for kampung-man its the only option (but its only RM150 a/month for digi prepaid RM99-postpaid ,Maxis 3G-RM99 postpaid, Celcom 3G-RM68-postpaid hehh..and im on Digi RM150/month)

so if kampung-man can afford it, why dont u? so, lets go mobile!! :P

malfunction

i bought this electric kettle few days ago at Giant for RM26.. i manage to use it to boil water with no problem few times before it went BROKEN!! duh...well not completly broken lah, but the lamp signal which indicate 'boiling' burnt out oredi...ceh... how to know if it boiled oredi? .. now i have to listen to it boiling sound :P ini la made in Malaysia :P

as an ex-electrician, this is small matter lah,just replace the indicator lamp la, but then i just remembered tht i left my tools box at my shed...which is exactly 3.5 minute walk from my house..but in this rainy condition errr..malas mo pi sana..besok la repair :P still can boil mah...

this is for dinner...im on diet! koh koh koh...(err...exclude the key chain and plug lah :P)

i dont really eat 'tuhau', but dunno why, today i feel like i want to eat some :P (mengidam kali nie..) for those of u who doesn't know 'tuhau' err..koh koh koh...how am i suppose to explain :P maybe u know 'Hinava' .. no? aiyah..come here i show u how .. (aiseh macam lagu John Gaisah la pula)

wild 'tuhau' at my backyard .. well source of income for my mum..she sell it for 10 cent a stick .. :P

well, i dunno what it called in Malays or English, but i've seen it on Tv once and i know it came from Ginger family plant so i googled it and came up with this.. so scientific name for it, is E. coccinea hoh...no wonder its hard to google hheh..

waa..and it produce beautiful flowers oso.. wonder if i can give this (to girls lah) as roses replacement..no need to pay so much for roses then hehh

how to eat it? so easy one..just put it into ur mouth and chew..hehhe ok just kidding..this is no sugarcane lah.. first u have to peel the outer skin (the hard one) to get the soft layer inside..then pound it or u can blender it, add ingredients such as vinegar,chili, salt .. or whatever u like..then finish hehh..u can eat it..well, cant eat it alone lah..eat it with rice and such..its more like an appetizer :P it can be prepared and served in many ways actually..

so folks...if u're skeptical about how it taste...like si guntut here..

go buy it at ur nearest tamu today! koh koh koh... but, its more like durian tho' some really love it and some just dont .. so folks..enjoy 'TUHAU' makanan kebangsaan KadazanDusun *tehheh...

to start my blogging session today..look at this picture, taken at my bro's house hheh...just few steps from my house (err..my mum's house to be exact im yet to build my own :P)

yaa.twin banana keh keh khe...no..this is not 'bizzare-things-only-in-Sabah-thinggie' this is a genetically altered one... done in bio-lab..my bro got it seeds from one of his 'frankeinstein' friend...i showed this once to my friend, and what did he said.."ai..2 seja? di kampung kami ada 12 woo.." ceh..lebih² pula dia ni... but its true tho' u can altered it to produce banana blossoms as many as possible, but the downside is..the banana itself will be useless, they will produce very small banana due to lack of nutrient :P

this is good for show only, but bad for business..

well change de story la, of all the entry i've written, nothing really is about my mum hheh..so today i'll announce that mother's day just came early hahhha...happy mother's day to all..

ya..thts my mum, finishing her dinner meal while watching 'Buletin Utama', i took her candid pic :P and dont be fooled with those cozy sleeping kitten, siap ada cushion lagi..my mum hate those!! hehhe...

well, my mum is 73 years old,maybe older, coz she got her birth certificate under oath..so her birth date is 'agak-agak' only, (yala dulu² manada JPN kan hehhe) an old-skool mum, hardworking mum of 11 (ya...12 to be exact but 1 din make it..) koh koh koh..now u know ah...

my mum is illiterate actually, but she can count and do a lil maths!! when i ask her, how'd she get to learn all tht? and she said well, she learn it from 'tamu' hehh...yes, u know, beside rubber tapping, and farming my mum used to go to 'tamu' to sell farm produce (to raise us), so she learn how to count from there, of course la if u cant count and do lil math how to trade and count money kan...

one more thing that i remembered about my mum is, the way she recognize a bus...my mum used to go to Tuaran, Tamparuli or KK and when i asked her, how did she know which buses to take (since she cant read kan) she said, she look at the length of the bus destination writings hehhe... if it short, than its KK, if it medium, its Tuaran, if its long its Tamparuli hhehhe...so simple one ah..hahh..no bother to ask leh..

err..tht guy is not me hheh..thts En Mangas :P my relative oso tht...aramaitihh..

and she is among the main reason why i decide to become Kampung-man in the first place, u see, since my father passed away in year 2000, my mum is kinda lonely, since all my siblings got their own family and live outside kampung...(except for my bro, but he just moved in :P) and my younger sister, but u know la, once she get married,she hav to follow her husband of course...

so as a good son (koh koh koh) here i am, taking care of her, well aint tht suppose to be our responsibilty?? i sacrifice my 11 years career mostly because of her :P but thts ok..u can build a career anytime anywhere, but u cant just 'build' a mum heheh..besides kampung life aint tht bad either...

waaa...ini la hasil for few weeks ...sikit seja because it raining most of the day..i got sick..hari raya etc etc .. so sikit seja la...

and if u're wondering about higest income for this month well, as expected..the 'tua mau mampus' old man still leading..this time he score almost 5K (yep..if i have a rubber plantation as much as he do, i probably hit the same or more amount too :P )

as for me..err..shy la mo bagi tau hhehhe...cukup-cukup makan only hhahha...

Look like i have trouble with my new shed... now the dripping from my 'white gold' is puddling into the uneven floor hohoh .. yes..and if u're not a rubber tapper, or ex-rubber tapper or simply got no 'iron-nose' .. u better stay away from this :P 500M is good heheh...(since, they are no roses alike scent there)

aiseh...macam sana iklan la pula .. hheh..

err..you are definitely not mr clean ..

now i need a floor wiper .. the one u can buy at Giant for less than rm10 (i guess la) but being a cheapskate i am (koh koh koh) i decide to make my own floor wiper ..

all u need is a few recycled item..such as- 'long time dead' selipar jepun, few pieces of wood.. a hammer and a nails and some imagination of course ..

and...shape them like so .. using some 'parang' or a knife (or can use teeth oso :P)

then..nail them together (well u can nail them in any way,as long as they look like the one in the picture).. finish hahha...now u have a home made floor wiper that cost u RM .. err.. 10 minute hhehe...

but let see if it works ..

Eureka!! it work ..it workk hhah...well it kinda remind me of an old cheapskate words of wisdom 'why buy something that you can build?' hoh...

short entry today .. just an update .. im sleepy .. and feel guilty la pula, becoz i drained all my brother's water supply tank last nite koh koh koh... it all happend when a faulty installation of water pipeline occured .. heh...i forgot to put glue on tht poor pipe joint and apalagi, it burst and emptied the tank :P .. nasib baik my bro is not coming to his 'kampung-house' this week or so..

well,i manage to fix it..but now there is no water inside the tank :P jadi tiada la makan oh..guilty :P but nvm, in rainy weather like this, it will be full with rain in no time hehhe...

i woke up today with rubber tapping in mind .. as fast as Supreman, i go sharpen my 'daily gadget' the 'pisau getah...while having my regular warm Milo and some cookies for breakfast ..

this is the said 'pisau getah' in artistic view :P (well,it wont be that attractive if u see it live )

while in the process of sharpening my knife, my mum break the morning silence (it was 5.30am) asking me whether im going rubber tapping today..and i ask 'why' and she said "well, rinumasam bogia di kosodop...oyopos moti ie guas do gatah d" ah...no understand?? wakkak...nasib la .. i'll be happy to give u a 'subtitle' my mum says, 'it was raining last night..and the rubber trees are all wet !'

what!!!! .. how could i din realize that?? i've must been asleep like a baby hoih...there goes my 20KG of 'white gold' adeh .. rugi..rugi.. lets do a lil maths, 20 X rm 4.10 = RM82 is gone!! wakkak.. but nvm .. at least i can rest, u see, rubber tapping is a hard work .. and for a die hard rubber tapper like me, rainy day is just the only chance to rest .. i understand the rule 'natures give and natures take' so..what did i do? hoih..apalagi .. go back to sleep la hahha..no use whining la..

this is the said 'white gold' hahha.. each sheet valued at around rm70~100 :P and we just lie them around as if it not worth a dime :P hehhe...but them when u have brave guard dog like 'si guntut and associate' i bet u dont wanna get close to them...thts why we have 'si guntut' around :P

err...hehhe...ok , i forgive u 'guntut' i understand that, even guard dog need good sleep :P so do i .. so nite folks :P

my DiGi GPRS today very slow .. very 'potong stim' to bloghop .. even to blog pun it gimme pain in the a** thts why its short entry la today ..

nothing much happen today (hoih..macam la hari² yang lain tue best kan...), my bro came here to borrow my 'kampung-horse' or better known as pick-up, to pick up some steel hehh...x tau la dia mo buat apa, mo makan kali ..

btw tht pick-up is for sale at RM 6500 seja tip-top condition, its Isuzu pick-up KB26 2.2 cc Diesel...anyone intrested can contact me lah .. see the advert banner hehhe..(macam used car la pula)

this is before paint job done, now it look nicer since i've already touch-up the paint job in order to pass PUSPAKOM ..

btw...my other car, the Protong Iswara almost give me a headache yesterday .. it wont start!! damn.. i tought the battery went dead, (sudala xda duit suda ni) but turn out to be the wire connected to the starter motor is snapped .. hoih..sepa la punya kerja ..luckily im a bit of a mechanic hheh..

heh..simple trouble shooting bah tue, just try to jumpstart it, and if it still wont start thts mean ur wiring 'suda sot-sot' so, use ur visual to check .. or if it too hard for u .. call the mechanic hheh..susah-susah seja :P

wow...my mum got another durian today theheh...jan jeles :P, not only human interested with it, kucing2 jadian pun berminat nampaknya .. (err..thts not Mimi lah massy :P )

and without second thought, i split open it .. (with a Parang of course, i still need my teeth) owh..yummy ..

uRhMmMm...airrrr.... i need water .. i got choked eherkkk....

after the yummmmmmy .. i decide to move my 'headquarters' into my newly built ~~shed~~ office .. so i loaded just about everything into my pick-up or better known as 'kampung-horse' and head on ..

this is no 'ABC ice-shredder' this is wat we called 'gigilingan' (nah, got ur tongue twisted oredi?) or in english we can call it 'roller-machine-to-give-the rubber-bundle-a nice-thread' hheh..how bout that? and its function just like as it named :P (in short)

and this is the heaviest tools for my 'office' equipment, it weigh around 50-60 Kg, thts why i have to dismantle it before transporting it, beside its built of 'cas-iron' thts mean fragile, one knock and i'll be dead .. this thing cost at merely 1k koh koh koh,...

yea... i like my new office, all organized .. (except for the smell, pls ignore tht since its a smell of a money hhehhe..) now im fully comply with OHSA and i might apply for ISO certification as well after this...now i need office chair and desk to start showing off whos the boss hhehhe...

after almost 3 days feeling like an 80 years old man, i finally recover from fever..not fully recover but enough to run here n there oredi :P thanks god.. and get to rubber tap too hhah..(and can smoke too...haih...i'll never learn :P)

and to 'lepas geram' .. (since i didnt get to taste something sweet for these 3 days) i stuffed this into my mouth haih...

im not too proud to say this, but im sick! deym .. got fever, and cough too, body aching too, born on the 'horse year' doesn't make me super strong i guess .. everybody got to be sick sometime hhehhe...

i spent these 2 days laying on my bed, hoping tht my body will recover very fast so tht i can go rubber tap :P (like most people, i hate pills and such, let em antibody grow! hhuhuh..) and although i am a 'money eye' (hheheh) person, i still put my health in my 1st priority .. thts why i rather wrap myself with thick blanket, than going rubber tapping behave like 'super kampung-man' thts idiot :P

btw, im getting well a bit,now, i can stare at them monitor oredi but still i cant see clearly, so i'll hop tomolo la .. hope everyone doing good there hheh...

o..and today is my birthday kui kui kui .. 3rd nov (special thanks to someone who remind me...i forgot my own bday hhahhah) because im sick lah :P

im still here! hhah..thanks to my friend here who are kind enuff to lend me his moneh :P (yay..my money la but they keep it and use it as they like and give us few cents in return...)and im blogging ..

I was using my Celcom line to access Cimb web just now, because i couldn't use my Digi anymore (now im using digi lah - after reloading it online). To use celcom, u just simply type 'Broadband subscribe' and send to 28882, and u'll have 24 hours access to the internet for rm 8 (its rm8 / day)...cool huh? hheh, or u can just simply use the *118# and follow instructions there.. this is suitable for those who doesn't use the internet on a daily basis .. but tht is definitely not me :P (i am Internet freak !! everyday is a must .. some say internet is better than sex! koh koh koh ... )

but Celcom, without 3G coverage is worthless .. see my test here ..

in test scale, these 2 rivals quite equal, but in real time, when u go surfing i can feel that digi is loading data much more faster than Celcom, thts why im using digi hheh.. i guess thts because celcom in anyways is 'siblings' to streamyx hheh...thts why they're suxx :P (sorry celcom) but thts just in data communication la...other than that ok .. (voice,sms,mms-ok gprs-suxxxxx)

but that is the case here in suburban area, where EDGE is not available, 3G is just a fairy tale and all we have is a super-narrow-band GPRS hoih...but where the 3G coverage is available, i will recommend u to use celcom rather than digi .. why? coz in a clear day, celcom 3G can easily kick Streamyx Ass !! i've test it before (back in Shah alam)

so there u go, my tribute to Malaysian Wireless ISPs ( they shud pay me for this hheh) and Celcom 3G should extend their coverage at least to Tuaran (not only in KK and PPG) because Tuaran folks also got money to use the 3G service ma .. rubber produces these days are very good, even rubber tapper like me can afford to use the internet .. so co'mon Celcom .. use ur 'X' factor hheh..

im still haunted by 'si gangis' tragic death, heh.. and im having back pain now on account of mixing cement for my sheds floor :P arghh...very painfull indeed and i manage to finish only half of it before it rain... hoh..

I woke up this morning with rubber tapping in mind (yes..its sunday and im doing overtime) just to found out tht one of my mum's dog is dead! hoh...pity..

less one to feed :P this is 'si gangis' and this poor dog died of giving birth...kesian..i guess she just cant take the pain of giving birth (she actually gave birth to 1 puppy, but tht one died too) i feel sympathy for her, but its ok..all dogs go to heaven...u and me? hoh..who knows :P

so i started my sunday morning digging holes to bury 'the late si-gangis' hoh..not one of the proudest thing to start ur sunday :P

now..whos gonna donate my mum a puppy? massy..u ask ur sis oredi? mehehe...

owh shoooooott! PPP rejected me because im too handsome :P hhee..no la, its bacause i didnt have any entry for 30days for the past 90 days..huhu..i just 're-blog' myself this month remember? (after 7 month nap :P)

ah..quick update on my shed...but the image is kinda blurry a bit, its camera phone la..in this weather condition? its not a good idea to bring out my Lumix FZ7...too risky..

gee..i left them yesterday with 4 standing pillars...it must be the strong wind just now..

hah...i can see 'ikan Talapia' already.. whos gonna dig it now? huh...

Luckily, i have a helping hand here...En Linus is ready to rumble with the dirt and get his hand dirty..while i was giving order hheh..no lah, actually i did it, he help me to hold things only..but very help full indeed..

in spite of wet condition and very muddy, we manage to secure the pillars but it getting darker already, so we will continue building it tomorrow, hopefully it'll not rain :P

hoh...and thts is my neighbour who suddenly pass by to show his teeth..hehe..thts me la..

at first i wanted to e-mail this 'go fishing map' here to LeeJB but then i couldnt find his email add .. hhehe...sorry Lee.. so i just posted it here...can click for larger view...i hope this would help lah..coz thts was the very 1st time i go there...but it shudnt hard to find... can ask the nearby stall (i remember one stall with the name 'sudi mampir' hehhe...must be javanese) for direction..

so anyone interested to go fishing can go there...good spot for overnight trip...can bring ur kids...wife(s)...girlfriend, boipren..or u maid...or ur mistress there hhehh...its sure safe..and plenty of ikang Talapia...

bytheway...i totally lost about 30% of my latex today caused by the rain...hoh...im in a middle of collecting the latex when it rain suddenly, if not En Linus (my nephew) quickly help me out, i might lost 60% of it...thank 2 u my nephew hhehe...we're collecting the latex like 'rat-race' coz the rain oredi pouring into them...hoh...imagine running downhill (about 60 degree of slope) while holding the 20kg bucket full of latex hohhoh...one slip and u end up become 'white-man'..(because the latex is white coloured liquid of course...)

and u must know how hard it is to remove the latex if it get into ur hair..hahhahh...botak la jawapnya...

ish...malas mo blog today...im in a process of building a shed to store my precious product (the getah kepingan laaa..) from dog bite hheh...just now i've started building it oredi, but kena hujan while i was finishing the pillar ceh...terbengkalai lagi..its not a big shed anyway measured at 8 x 12 ft only but still cost me about rm700 hoh...material these days ar not cheap u know :P..i'll take pic tomolo la...

btw..i've added some 'rubber price' section on my blog left corner hheh...thts for my own reference lah...but incase ppl wondering how i make a living (since, i cant or not good enough to PPP as Cindy did :P)..and i need some favour for those who have everday access to our local news paper 'Daily Express' (coz i cant have them everday here) to update mo on rubber price...ada sana column 'kadazandusun' itu hhehe...can msg me sana chatbox ... ur help is very important for me and the rubber-tupper community in general :P (so that we can continiue to supply the important raw material for condom manufacturing hehh..)

Deym again...tiada karan again ceh,ceh and ceh...actually its not totally blackout, but not enough current, enough to power up my laptop and tv but cannot turn on the lamp..ceh...wat la...in this week alone we have 3 or 4 blackout...wat the matter SESB? i've called many times oredi (heh..the KL habits on me still going strong-very suka komplein...)..ingat we orang kg canot pay bills ka?

huh...but then again...its ok...we dun use tht much power lah...we're tough org kg..no need electricty tht much to survive... heh..when i was born..up till i was old enough to go to secondary school pun we dun hav electricty mah...no big deal...but now, i guess the electricty spoilt us oredi :P sikit-sikit karan..mati la like this...

what does a rubber tapper do when it rain u ask? we go FISHING !! hehe... well tht pretty much about it.. u know im a die hard rubber tapper...i hate to miss my tapping season (coz when i missed it, mean that i dun hav money :P) .. i'll take a leave only in occasion where - someone dead, im sick, ~~wife give birth~~, and raining huh...

so we pack our gear...well just few bamboo stick for fishing, a cup of fat worm...and few things lah u know it better than me, im rubber tapper not fishermen.. accompany us is our fellow villagers...then we jump in at the back truck of my bro's Ranger and head on to Gayang...sana dekat Melawa bah tue..nasib la klu x tau..sia pun x tau tue tempat ;P sia ikut2 ja...

so to make the story short...here is the picture lah...im no good fishermen so i dun hav anything to say about fishing...for me fishing is just about catching fish...wat so wondering bout tht?

comfort rides on Ranger's truck ... while im enjoying music and cold air-cond inside the cabin :P thts my fellow villagers and our good friend Mr Panjang with his nephew

nah..this is so called Gayang lake...dunno la apa nama ni tempat..this used to be an illegal sand mining spot...now abandoned salty lake...tapi lake on the other side is not salty...hairan bin ajaib..

hah...before fishing...kita mandi duluuuu...yes..its not everyday hill peoples like us have this opportunity to swim..since we live on top of the hill where got lake here where? where? huh~~ so after i snap this picture i put my camera phone aside...running vigorously and jump to the lake happily tehehe..-thts my bro..covering his tummy he he he...sorry bos...brp bulan suda?

while all the big boys go swimming like never see lake before, these good kid do the fishing..me? ai..geli la pegang tue ulat :P

Ikan Talapia seja?? huh`~~ ingat kerapu ka, stingray ka...or at least Ikan Tongkol ka...

but in the end, even Talapia is tasty when ure in outing mood, heck ...even maggi mee taste good when u hav a good day...-women group perform the Talapia BBQ :P

so wrapping our trip tht day is a brief agreement between us to comeback again sometime soon to repeat this outing...consider tht our catch is not that good, so i guess some of us just not satistified .. heh...me? im ok..as long as its not raining, and i get to swim

today i'll reveal the way how i've got my Internet connection here in this very suburb area...without any fixed phone line...and on very limited finance

first this is how my desk look like...the phone which act as a modem must be hang to the particular spot in order to get full bar signal from Digi...and also the EDGE..and the half naked person is just for decoration purposes :P

full bar doesn't mean I'll get the EDGE coverage tho.. it depend on weather..like today..its raining and cloudy so the line become very unstable..slow as turtle (i bet even turtle much faster than my Internet connection today)

and after all the effort to get faster connection..this is all i've got...actually i've made 3 tests..but im too ashamed to show you the other test results...hehe...as i said even slower than turtle...can go masak nasi while waiting for any page to load but for the love and passion on Internet..i'll swallow just about anything to go online...

pls god...let em Celcom 3G reach our area...damn...our kg is less than 30km from 3G coverage....bila la mo dapat faster connection nie hermm...

Haloo all..tehehe...hows ur raya goin? i mention before that, this gonna be my 1st raya here in my own kampung...and i found out that the way it feels way too boring compare to my raya before... i din go for 'sembahyang raya' this year hehe...(confession of an old man :P) not becoz i din want to go, but i got stuck in a mud on my way to the mosque .. (thts why i desperately need 4x4, my Protong Iswara not meant to be off road :P)

but at least we have a happening 'rumah terbuka' organized by my bro..so here i am tumpang sekaki...jadi penyambut tetamu .. and manage to snap some picture too...

Well, the kuih-muih before ... no guest yet...

The 'tuan kedai'..my bro (yellow jersy)..well, its early in the morning..thts why ppl wear shorts heheh...wat? this is 2nd raya lah...the baju melayu long hanged oredi :P

And the 'sumandak' bz entertaining our guests...well, inside the house, they hold responsible for entertaining...outside..the two monkeys held responsible for standing in front of the door, smiling to coming guests, greeting and shaking hands he he..boy...its tough..especially for non-friendly ppl like me teheheh...

and boys would be as happy as ever...

as for me...even tho its boring.. Hari raya coming sooonn..yay...i bet many ppl bz for preparation oredi..me? err..i dont know what to prepare hehe...

so this is my 1st raya here in my own kampung lah...for years i've been celebrating raya 'overseas' hehe...i dont know if the situation and feel would be different, but for person like me...i dun celebrate any occasion so over excitedly :P ...

but my bro will be having an open house...everyone invited :P (his home next to mine only heh) so i'll just go and 'tumpang sekaki' with his open house .. its lot convenient that way..rather than doing 2 open houses, besides, theres nothing here in my house..can eat the stairways lah hehe...

well,i reckon it would be happening..u know, since our family is the only family here who celebrate raya ( the other family are mainly Catholic ) but thts our tradition since long time ago..we will 'kongsi raya' every time.. even on Chinese new year ...heh (our kampung fella can be considered as gila raya...the only raya they didn't celebrate is deepavali , i guess :P)

by the way...i wont be able to go blogging for few days..on this raya i'll be bz :P i'll be on my raya trip to Kundasang to visit my sis there...then..dunno la after that..cari sumandak kali hehe...

yaa..its Sunday...past daylight and here i am..lying in a comfort of my smelly-smelly bed hehe (a bachelors bed, wat do u expect? roses smell? huh..) with this warm portable computer in my lap..with long wire attach to my N70 which act as super modem with super narrowband connection which allow me to go to toilet doing my business waiting for some page to load :P

and to tell u the truth i dun have anything better to write in my head..they're empty..as empty as my pocket right now (the Lembaga Tabung Getah has'nt come to buy our precious product yet -which is a major raw material for condom manufacturing for your pleasure..and peace of mind doing ur business..knowing that after the great satisfactions of both u and ur couple end..u'll never regret for the whole life ..if u know wat i mean :P)

so no picture yet...what is happening..few months ago..when i decide to leave my stylish life and become dedicated rubber tapper, i didn't plan to leave behind things that i'd like to do before such as....ermmm...let me think..ah..i forgot it already..damn...i guess my memory has been erased just like the Arnold movie Ereaser....damn...those 'getah beku' odour must've been damaging my brain to the worst state :P

but im happy with my life..no doubt about that..the decision has been made by me...and no regret whatsoever...im as happy as full belly pig hehe...the only regret that i have in mind is that the failure to buy cheap 4x4 vehicle back in KL and bring back here heheh...wat? childish? haha...u know its not cheap here in KK..even the 'besi buruk' 4x4 still cost more than 10k cheh...sindri pakai la...

i was watching Wreck to Riches on Discovery Real Time channel when suddenly i heard some disturbing sound, ..i knew right away it was our home cat giving birth but in the living room??yea..in front of our doorway to kitchen wakaka.. it can be considered as 'terberanak' hehe..but since this is the first time for this poor cat giving birth ok la..

horrayyy...finally i can go online at home...hehe..at least for dis month la...all thanks to my bro who bought 2 digi fu-yooo starter pack for no reason haha..so he use only one of it and gave me the other...and i manage to korek2 my tabung to reload it RM150... but hopefully it i'll capped at rm149 a month (as per advertised), becoz instead of using the regular setting of digiwap..i actually change the setting to digimms to go online haha (confuse?? me too..but it works so far)

so i still dun hav any idea of wat to blog...since..uh..u know its been err..6 or 7 month since my last post...keh keh..my finger keras2 oredi kerana hard labour everyday...so its hard to do typing..i guess i need to polish my typing skill once more time :P..need to softend my finger first (i've used to have fastest typing speed u can imagine back then...but since i become orang kampung...err..everyday holding parang..cangkul...pisau getah..etc etc...so u knew la ah :P)

damn! i got my 1st bee sting today...i was out clearing bushes on my mum's rubber plantation when i got attacked all of a sudden by a regiments of bees haha...luckily i managed to escaped with 4 bee bites only hehe 1 on my face and 3 on my fingers..damn i feel numb for a half hour :P

so..me and my nephew took a revange by attacking the beehive and capturing their nest kah kah kah..we're armed with 25% more mosquito spray the ridsect ! upon capturing the beehive, i took some pic of it as souvenier for the victory :P

i dont know but recently i lost interest in typing :P maybe my hand become stiff oredi due to kampung works and its less than a week only hehe...maybe after a month my keyboard aso hangkang due to stiffened fingers :P

so i'll just post some kampung photos as usual, me? im still adopting to new way of life :P..practising my tapping skill hehe..and to familiarized my body to new temperature..its so hot during day...and freezing cold at night..can die easily :P

we burn some old and damaged books...those are my siblings collection for years but due to unattended,they got striken by termite hehe...so hav to dispose em before them termite eat my house out :P

i found the solution for my 'super lembab' connection hahah..its here openDNS wakak..it does improve my diginet connection up to 40-50%..anyone using GPRS and using S60 smartphone as modem can use this...err..everyone can use lah..if its a phone modem u can use it...

yes..it improve my connection now...no more 'always error' in return...let see how reliable it is..hopefully it'll stay this way so that i can surf faster,bloghop faster and ~~download porn~~ opss...no la kidding :P and whats more..its FREE huhu...now u know not all free stuff is useless :P

well, if u're kinda wondering what am i doing here in my new environment, beside seeing all block concrete everyday and wearing the 'white ninja' suit at work before, now all i see is greenery hehe...its kinda relaxing, and the fresh air...

the water is freezing cold, u must know by then tht my kampung situated at 2nd tallest hill in kota-kinabalu [1st tallest hill was Lawa Mondou, where the Tv transmitter tower planted ehehe] the wind blowing non-stop and its freezing...like living on top of Genting Highland no wonder we're called Hill people yes!! we're hill people, our shoes getting dirty! red soil is all over :P

i woke up everyday at 7 am..hehe...no i dint go tap rubber yet...its relaxing time [enjoying the unemployed moment xctually] and wash my face and felt the temporary numbness in my face because the water is freezing colddddd....

well, its only few days relaxing time coz im running out of saving money so back to work...

note:- none of my kampung-man jobless :P how come u'll be jobless when plenty of work to be done?? :P

itu banner tue ada cerita tersendiri, it happen last year di ladang kami di Pitas, in that pic is my elder bro tengah pegang sekotak macis kayu dengan bergayanya...oleh kerana beliau adalah seorang guru maka dengan bangganya beliau telah mengajar anak buah sia [yg tengah tunduk malu² tue] cara-cara menghidupkan lampu karbaid...

lampu itu dapat dihidupkan dengan jayanya, hasil dari dedikasi anak buah saya yang menjelmakan aura dia yang tak seberapa :P maka tehasil lah efek yang x disengajakan...
